The data projection system in the stadium is set up for the optional connection of a laptop computer.

The convenient "laptop computer" wall plate and the dual PC inputs on the data projector make this connection easy.

Please do not unplug any cables from the desktop computer.

Laptop Computers in the Stadium Cable Connections and Settings

The Laptop Computer wall plate is located on the wall, just above the desktop computer workstation. A blue HD15 cable is connected to this wall plate.

1. Connect the blue HD15 cable to the external display port on the laptop computer.

2. Turn on the data projector and laptop computer.

3. Select "Computer 2" on the data projector by pressing the "Mode", "Source" or "input" button on the data projector remote control.

! If the laptop computer is running and all the above steps have been followed, yet the computer image is still not on the projector, you need to activate the external display port on the laptop computer. (Step 4)

4. Press and hold down the FN key on the laptop computer. While holding the FN key down, find the F key that has an icon of a TV monitor or "LCD" written on it. (usually F4) and press it one time, then release both keys.

Wait about five seconds. The image should appear on the data projector. If not, repeat step 4 again until until the display is activated.

If step 4 fails, consult your laptop owner's manual or operating system manual for instructions on how to change the display port settings on your particular laptop computer.
