Portable Data Projector Sharp XGE690U

The Sharp 690U portable data projector is available for use anywhere on campus.  It is lightweight and easy to connect to any computer.  This projector has two inputs, one for data and the other for video.  Any video source (camcorder, VCR, laserdisc player, etc.) can be connected to the projector for large, clear video projection.  Two built-in speakers offer adequate audio volume for most campus rooms.

5.    Turn on the computer and monitor using the appropriate switches.
6.  To display computer data, press the input button once or twice until the projector displays the RGB mode.

7.Adjust the projected image.  The data projector does not have a zoom control, therefore, to increase the size of the projected image, move the projector away from the screen.  To decrease the size of the image, move the projector closer to the screen.

When an image is projected at a slight angle, keystoning can occur.  Keystoning is the effect created when the top of the projected image is larger than the bottom, and the vertical edges are not parallel.  A keystone correction knob is located on the back of the data projector; simply turn this knob until the picture is square.

To focus the projected image, rotate the lens guard until a sharp picture is achieved.

8.    When finished, perform the proper shut down of the computer.  Press the On/off button on the remote control to turn off the lamp.  The fan will remain on until the lamp cools.

CAUTION

Do not unplug or press the main power switch until the fan stops.

Failure to wait can result in damage to the projector.
