Classroom computers are set up to display computer data on the desktop monitor as well as the data projector.

Occasionally, the settings are altered and the computer data can no longer be seen on the data projector.

In such an event, please follow the steps below to correct the display problem.

Resetting Graphics Properties Verify Connections and Settings

1. Make certain all cables are properly connected. An HD15 cable is used to connect the desktop PC to the wall plate port that runs up to the data projector input. Make sure one end is plugged into the back of the desktop computer, and the other is connected to the wall plate.

2. Turn on data projector and set it to the "computer 1" input.

If the image is still not on the data projector, complete steps 3 through 6

3. Right click on the computer desktop.

4. Select "Graphic Properties" from the pop-up menu that appears on the desktop.

5. Click "Twin" when the window shown below appears.

6. Click "Apply", then "OK" when the confirm pop up appears.

If the window in number 5 does not appear, please restart the computer and try steps 3 through 6 again.
